Day 4 is a lengthy one, as it is the longest day of the whole journey. We are in the flat, flat Karoo and over the day the road seldom changes. This will be a day that will test the runners’ sanity as the miles will certainly not seem to disappear under foot. Perhaps a tough day for the support crew also as they have to find some distraction away from the “bright lights” of just a tar road.
