Day 18 is a long one for the final week – perhaps because the backroads don’t take a straight route between Swellendam and Stormsvlei, because the Breede River has to be crossed somewhere. We border on the Robertson wine area as we get close to Bonnievale but ultimately we need to avoid distraction and Stormsvlei sets us up nicely for the final three days.
