Day 15 to Riversdale sees us cross yet another mountain pass – this time the Garcia’s Pass through the Langeberg mountain range. Another historic one built in 1860 as we continue our journey on some of the lessor used roads of the Western Cape. Riversdale is often considered the western most past of the Garden Route but for us it has a different significance – from here we head west towards home and the finish, almost in a straight line, and almost always in the shadows of large mountain ranges.
